I have to monitor the situation outside. This is the view through the front window, sometimes a bird stops by for a peak inside. One time Hobbes, a bothersome cat from down the block, bounced off the ledge. Did he fall off the roof? Did he jump six feet in the air? Did he he hurl himself six feet sideways from the nearby tree? Who cares? The shocked expression as he bounced and fell to the ground is good enough for my memories.

My Front Perch
